Hotel Coolidge Policies

Check-In/Check-Out for Hotel Guests: Hotel Coolidge's check-in time is 4:00 pm, and check-out time is 11:00 am. The hotel will make every effort to personalize our guests' stays if provided ETA information at time of reservation. Late checkout requests may be made through the front desk only, and are subject to determination based on hotel occupancy. Additional charges may apply.

Stayover Service update: We have resumed stayover service upon request for stays of four or more days. We will clean your room every three days. Please let us know at check-in if you require stayover service.

Cancellation Policy: The hotel requires a minimum of 48 hours cancellation notice. All confirmed reservations not cancelled at least 48 hours prior to 4:00 pm check-in time on the first day of the reservation, will be the responsibility of the traveler, and may be subject to a penalty of one night's charge plus tax. Cancellations received within the 24-hour period or a "no show" will incur one night's room and tax charge to be assessed to the credit card on file. Please provide notice of cancellation before 4:00 pm two days prior to arrival to avoid a penalty of one night's room & tax.

PLEASE NOTE: All Dartmouth graduation reservations are non-cancelable, non-refundable, and must be paid in full at the time that the reservation is made. A two-night minimum stay is required.

Smoking Policy: Hotel Coolidge is a 100% non-smoking facility. Smoking is not permitted anywhere within the hotel. Should it be determined that smoking has taken place in a guest-room, the hotel will charge a $250.00 cleaning fee, placed on the guest folio before or after check-out.

Minimum Age Requirements: All guests must be 18 years or older to confirm guest-room accommodations at Hotel Coolidge. Minor children are not allowed to stay in a guest room without their parent or legal guardian.
Stay over services: Hotel Coolidge's housekeeping provides stay-over service between 10 am and 1:30 pm. A do not disturb sign on the door indicates you do not want stay over service.

Pet Policy: Up to (2) well-behaved, commonly domesticated dogs are allowed in selected rooms. Rooms 201, 222 and 224 are pet-free. Your dogs may not be left alone in the room, nor are dogs allowed on any of the furniture. We require a $20 plus tax Pet Cleaning Fee, per pet, per night, along with a $100 refundable Pet Damage deposit. These fees will be charged to your guest folio. Upon check-out, your room will be inspected and the $100.00 returned to your card if the room has been determined by Housekeeping to be undamaged and free of pet hair on all furniture and bedding. You must clean up after your dog. The hotel does not allow cats or any pets other than dogs.

Roll Away Beds: Rollaway beds are $20 per night plus tax (fee is in addition to 3rd person fee if required). Room type must fit rollaway (note: full and queen rooms do not accommodate a rollaway) and requests must be confirmed with property directly.
